Mermaid Melody Idol Prelimilaries CLOSED -- Get ready for Round 2!

Everyone! I thank the contestants for waiting so long for the prelimilaries to be over (finally~). Results will be announced to each category's participants by next Sunday. ^^ And many, many, MANY thanks to those who auditioned for Hanon! It won't be closed! XD Await the second round, all!

-=Rounds in the contest=-
Round 1—Preliminaries
The preliminaries are the starting rounds of the whole contest. Anyone can enter, and the choice of the song is up to the participant. Only the chosen ones are heading up to the next round.

Round 2—the Stage Act
The stage act is where people who managed to pass the 1st round sing in. Grading will still be on the same conditions. This round, participants will sing only the selected songs chosen by the organizers. Participants with the highest score in each Mermaid category will head on to the next round.

Round 3—the Sea
As everyone knows, the sea is vast. Many different particles in the sea support the marine life. In this round, participants have the freedom to choose their own Mermaid Melody songs to sing. Not only will the judges give score, the audience will be allowed to vote as well. Audience will just have to put under their comments in their favorite participants' videos, "I vote!", and the vote will be counted. 30% goes to the votes, and the other 70% will be the judges' score. Participants with the highest score and votes will proceed on to the next round.

Round 4—the Dive
This is where the going gets tough, and the tough gets going. This round, there will be a selected song for each Mermaid, which will test your flexibility. Judges will start going strict on the participants who've made it this far. Audience does not get a vote in this round. This round is one of the more important rounds in this competition. For those who pass this round, they will go on to the finals. As for those who did not manage "the Dive", there will be a special round whereby these participants have one last chance to make it to the finals.

Special Round
This is the round where participants in "the Dive", those did not manage to get into "the Final Act", will get to make a comeback. Voting is allowed in this round, and the grading system remains the same. Depending on the number of participants in this round, only selected ones will successfully make a "Comeback" and proceed to "the Final Act".

Last Round—the Final Act
This is the final round, and I doubt much elaboration is needed. In "the Final Act", the choice of the Mermaid Melody song will be thoroughly up to the finalists. Grading will be even stricter than usual. No voting allowed in this round. The Champion, Runner-up, as well as Second Runner-up of each Mermaid category will then be revealed. That will mark the end of this annual competition.

An important thing for all to take note is that anyone can challenge the Top 3 of each Mermaid Category once they are announced. This is called a "Recall". For a "Recall", challengers are to go straight to the organizers. After informing the organizers, a "Recall" will be arranged between the two.
