Can you talk about the psychological evaluation appointment that we need to have before we actually get an surgery date? I was told that this appoitment is cridical to have the final approval for surgery.... what type of questions are asked?

@00Susana00 Well I got shafted for my eval, they asked me to repeat the months backwards and name the last three presidents, then asked me why I wanted to lose weight and that was it.  But then my BF now had his last week and they made him come in a second time and talked about everything, all depends on your doctor.... Just stay positive and be truthful- nothing to worry about!

I agree, there’s a lot that is needed to help. The Bypass surgery is expensive and then with all the other stuff. I’d rather have some money and still shed the weight.

omg, when i went for mine. the psycologist he gave a me 3 test 1st test was 10 question the 2nd was 175 questions, and the 3rd was 350 question.. it was like in school again.. he graded them i was so petrified i was going to get an f.. well, needless to day when he was done he said ok ill send your clearance today.. next time i saw he was telling me that the test was no inconsistent and he said bc the demographic was for married white women.. im native american.. funny..
