Snow in London. Adults play and laugh like kids in London's Soho and Fitzrovia. Schools are cancelled and those who should be at work are having snowball fights and making snowmen and angels.

As far as I understand the weather in England is very regular. meaning, not so cold winters and not so hot sumers. am I right?

You are right. We are actually well north of Minnesota but kept temperate in the winter by ocean currents while summer is 'almost normal' by N.A. standards.

It's refreshing to see adults in a city actually enjoying the snow. When you get as much as we get in the northeast USA it stops being fun. Would LOVE to see London on a snow day. its probably the only thing that could make a beautiful city even more enchanting.

i loved that day! Our school feild was full with snow, we made a massive snowman. I'm so happy we had snow this year cos we never really do ,all we have is ice .

Dear all Canadians, American's and Russian's! Yeah - It is all media hype rubbish - there was over a foot [30cm] of snow in some places and because this has been hyped up by the media to the wider-world it gives the opportunity for many other countries to have a dig at England - I tell you one thing for nothing and there are more embarassing things to have a dig at in our country than the snow! - We do not get much snow due to the Gulf - Stream if you know your Georgraphy!
