Mary Vogel on Sustainability and the New Urbanism

Mary Vogel, planner and urban designer in Portland, Oregon talks about how she became an advocate and community developer starting with her first job in Washington, D.C. through to her current work and vision, to use every little piece of our landscape to regenerate the planet with a special emphasis on native plants.

Mary is the founder of PlanGreen, a consulting firm located in Portland, Oregon. PlanGreen and its associates help communities adapt some of the Sustainable Urbanism measures that have brought Portland, Oregon a reputation as a sustainability leader and shape them to the needs of your own community or institution.
