the music makes it a little overdramatic, but besides that, this is the best indie flick i've seen in a long time, or maybe the only. it has all the makings of a blockbuster: epic slow-mo battle scenes, exotic locales, sexy scenage, the rise of a warrior, female gladiators, words of inspiration, damsel in distress, dialogue that expresses so much with so little, and inter-racial interaction.
