2004: in this clip governor Schwarzenegger says that if proposition 66 would pass, then 26.000 dangerous criminals like rapists and murderers would be released from prison...
@Vil13LAin She's married, doing great for herself. If she was in cali though and made some stupid mistake, she'd be in jail for 25+ years, that's stupid. She paid for her past crimes already. And they weren't even stacking crimes. It's not like she was a repeat druggie stealing shit and even then I don't see that worth 25+ years. Maybe I'm more forgiving but I think this is retarded. There needs to be something to remove this stupid law.
@Vil13LAin Get out of Cali. A friend of mine got 1 drug possession charge cause she had a meth addiction problem. But never stole anything or hurt anyone, just was an addict for a while. She was with her boyfriend one day and they went into this abandoned looking house to have sex with him. They left. Didn't destroy anything or break anything. Someone was moving in, found her gum she dropped, dna led to her and got 2 strikes now for felony trespassing for a quickie. She got out of cali.
Sounds like "Yes" the better vote, or am I not seeing this proposition correctly when I read it? This ad is a very very misleading ad cause seems "Yes" would have given these 'serious' offenders longer crimes and people that are in prison for light felony cases (such as drug possession) lesser time. No wonder California in a hell hole. Hope it just falls into the ocean. I see prop 66 didn't pass and now you spending more taxes on b.s. crimes.
PLEASE READ AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT (See YouTube videos) Judicial Benefits & Court Corruption Update / Evil Triangle of Court Corruption / Richard fine / Dr Shirley Moore slush funds /SBX 211. To end this title wave of corruption in our country must start with the corrupt judges. We can not bring evidence of corruption to corrupt judges. Los Angeles Superior Court judges are illegally and unconstitutionally taking 50,000.00 each for a total of 23 million per year.
Judge Raymond Cadei, Sacramento County Superior Court, on August 6, 2004, in a hearing on the Proposition 66 ballot arguments and rebuttals, in which opponents falsely claimed that Proposition 66 would result in the release of 26,000 felons. I do have a problem with is the rebuttal argument, which is the next exhibit, it makes in the very first paragraph a patently false statement... Now, I look at the statistics and the numbers. It looks like thats mathematically impossible

Now that Prop. 66 has failled, we should make a proposition that allows for more Death Penalties for those that have received 25 to life.

its ultimately misleading though.
"The amendment would have required the third felony to be either violent and/or serious in order to mandate a 25-years-to-life sentence."
