  • @Katuiros This is a dramatisation, no US soldier shot anyone in real life. SS Private Georg Fleps fired the first shots into the crowd for no reason killing a man next to Lt. Virgil Lary, a survivor who testified at the trial.

  • After the shooting stopped a US medic found himself unharmed, his helmet can be found in a museum close to the massacre site, he immediately began tending to the wounds of a soldier next to him. After patiently waiting for the medic to finish, a Waffen SS soldier shot them both. The men of Battery B of the 285th Field Artillery Observation Battalion should never be forgotten.

SSFraudLiar...in order for one to be brainwashed one would first need to possess a thinking brain and your vapid ramblings about how much you hate people and a refusal to accept reality re-reinforce the rumors about you suffering major head trauma or oxygen deprivation in your formative years...sadly not uncommon...and of course that can lead to early curtailment of educational activities and social contacts..I wish you a satisfactory recovery with rest and therapy..

  • I don't think we will ever find the answer to this, so basically no one can be blamed for anything. Not the Americans, not the Germans. Keep in mind though that not all Germans are bad people, such as not all Americans are good people. All you chauvanists out there, take a look on google for colourful records of your nation's proud history of massacres, as there tend to be a couple for every country. I maintain, no country is better than another. Keep a balanced view, and respect one another.
