I have thought about this and I wonder if we humans are only prolonging the suffering of a sick animal that only suffers more because we "helped" it back into the ocean.

People over there do probably know what germs and oils can do to the
dolphins skins, they just wanted to save the dolphin's life really badly.
Like I said before, there are no dolphin rescue teams around that area.
The only one there is hundred of miles away and it would take many hours
for them to get over there. I do think the gov.of Panama should have a
cetacean rescue team there,I think now the gov.doesn't have the resources
to do that yet. The good thing is that the dolphin survived.

There is a new animal research center that will open in Coiba Island
and scientists will study, watch and help cetaceans of the Pacific Ocean.
That institute is in construction and will be close to this island. I am hoping
they will be able to save dolphins. I heard a lot of dolphins in Coiba Island
get stranded and are hurt by the excess of boats that go by. Let' s hope
that place can send teams to help dolphins in this beach someday.

In Panama, there is an animal rescue organization called ANAM,they
probably work unti 3 PM. They help out all animals, but it takes too long
for them to show up since their offices are in Panama City that is hundreds
of miles away from towns and this beach,They don't have regional offices anywhere else. Also,in Panama, things go really slowly nothing is done in
speedy times. I still think the residents of this beach should have called them
anyway, they would have arrived hours later.

@actress4ever12 umm im guess they probably didnt have a marine rescue team not every country does they were just trying to help him.

That's fantastic! I'm so happy to see this!

great job!
Well most people in 3rd world countries can't afford "Whale Rescue Teams", most would leave the dolphin there to die, so don't complain when these people who are very unfortunate themselves take so much effort to save a wild life. And yet you have the nerve to complain about touching its skin..
