The is­land of Oahu, Hawaii was filled with flood­ed streets and stronger rain then Hawai­ians have seen in over 35 years, yet that didn't stop them from see­ing Q-​Tip of A Tribe Called Quest at his MyS­pace Re­lease Show at the Pipeline Cafe. Thou­sands stood in line at Dig Lifestyles to pick up their tick­ets as well as ar­rive at the venue to see Tip per­form for the first time ev­er in the is­lands. He men­tioned fre­quent­ly that he or Tribe has nev­er been here be­fore. "I want to come back in March!" he pro­claimed be­fore get­ting in­to Tribe clas­sics "Check the Rhyme," "Oh My God," "Sce­nario," "Award Tour," "Suc­ka Nig­ga" and so­lo hits like "Let's Ride," "Vivrant Thing." "Get­ting Up", "Move" and end­ing with his new song "Life is Bet­ter" fea­tur­ing No­rah Jones.
