I have Windows 7 and i downloaded Movie Maker 2.6 and its working. Then i went on the site, dowlnloaded "the split" and extracted it in C/Program Files/Movie Maker 2.6/ Shared/AddOnTFX (i didnt have the AddOnTFX so i made a folder) and it worked. Hope i helped :))
