Jon Q takes a look at an iOS app developed by Microsoft called PhotoSynth. PhotoSynth takes panoramic photos to a whole new level, with the ability to capture and view 360 degree photos! But.. does it work? Is it any good? Find out in this episode of WTA!

  • FYI: You don't have enough edges in your room especially around the door it is just plain wall. So the app and the underlying algorithm doesn't have any clue which parts to overlap of the consecutive shots while stitching.

  • photosynth made by microsoft not available on Windows Marketplace

  • Take my plate sir! :)

  • Very cool presentation

  • is there any app like this one for android (i have found 3 kinda like that, but none of them is really handy)

  • Why don't you try To-Fu 2 ?

  • Hey Jon, try quickpick for the iPhone, iPod and iPad. This is a very interesting app for the iOS as it takes advantage of the useless space in the notification bar. The app simply adds shortcuts in it! I love to see how you rate it!
