@melonbarmonster No, being the hippest restaurant in a hipster city makes it that expensive. I can buy oysters here $5 a dozen and a shoulder of a Tamworth for ~$20. With all the sides still less than a quarter of the price. New Yorkers and the fantasy life they live...

That looks sooooo good :D

@chubbychinesegirl Heirloom pork, oysters are what makes it expensive.

@0oMadeleine0o sorry i deleted ur comment by mistake....
i know u said he uses quality ingredients ... but like i said.. even Chang thinks its crazy ppl pay 200... but hey... if u liked it... its all good

I just like seeing someone completely obsessed about something they hate feeling as though they have a mission to tell everyone HOW FUCKING INSANE THE PRICE IS! If you can make a quality bossam at home and I'm not doubting that you can, go for it. But here in Manhattan where everything has jacked up prices and we all move in fast forward people don't have the time or the patience to cook and watch over a piece of meat for 8 hours.

and you seem to actually give a shit abt what i think! does my comments make your $200 bo ssam dining experience any less gratifying?
if anyone pays 200 and thinks its worth it... then it doesn't matter what other ppl say... but wat freakin' bugs me is that even Chang himself when on saying he has no clue why peeps line up for this when its so easy to make at home!
