Want to Play better Karatal?

For aspiring Karatal players. Some helpful hints on better playing. Just a few tips on playing Karatal. Knowing them will not make you an expert. YOU MUST PRACTICE. PRactice means you have to go sit down and play for a bhajan or kirtan. A good idea is to play along with someone who is NOT afraid to tell you when you SUCK. (that's not me, I can't stand your puppy dog eyes and broken hearts) BUT hey that's what it takes....

Amongst other causes, They are causing so much pollution in Vrindavan. People are beginning to wear face masks their just so they can breath. The government has made it the law that no auto rikshas can come a certain amount of miles from the Taj Mahal so that it does not change color and get dirty. I would love it if we could apply that rule to the holy dham as well!

Ahh, yes. I plaayed the Kirtals at my first Arati, it was also the first time I ever played them, let alone picked them up!

As with most things, I found my own method, combining the standard clashes you taught with a slicing motion, bringing them across eachother, When you hold them lightly, they 'ring' when you do it.
