BREAKING: Here's President Obama's endorsement of gay marriage:

I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don't Ask Don't Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I've just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married.

What does religion have to do with love? I think its stupid that what a person's religion is determines what people think and say about you... And how that determines the law of what who you are able to love. Yeah let's make gay marriage illegal and let's make millions of people depressed because they can't be who they are! God doesn't judge you so why do you judge them! And since when does someone's sexuality have ANYTHING to do with you? It's not like its going to kill you that someone's gay.

it's funny how i'm 14 and i have a broader mind than someone that's been in this world for longer than me. Sex is only sometimes for reproductive purposes, the majority of the time it's to show your love for someone. How is someone's sexuality what determines weather a life is fair?

Putting gay marriage into it's own category is another way of telling someone that it's bad to be who you are.
