The video on here was not Satire, it was a 16-17 year old kid who was probably encouraged to proclaim the good word to the world on YouTube. He later took down all his videos unfortunately. Ed's vids ARE satire, but his arguments are the same as the genuine article.

Evangelicals are not restricted to home schoolers. As an atheist home school family, one of the major reasons for avoiding public school is evangelicals teaching in our publics schools. These people teach our high schoolers that evolution is not a fact even though they are not allowed to. Public school boards are choosing history curriculum to skew the events that founded our nation. They espouse their idiotic falsehoods no matter where they are public or home school.

A lot of the people I went to church (in england) with were biblical inerrantists (6000 year old earth, bible is the word of god) and had a university degree. It seemed that even very smart people can believe stuff like this. Its like the smarter they are, the more power they have to rationalise things. In my case all of the clever ratinalisations did not cut it for me and I chose to be rational instead.

Mmm though only higher learning can truly reach into matters. The basics are very useful to have been learned. Yes the first schools in your life really just teach you the basics.. you want more you need to go to higher schooling. Or learn it through experience..some things can't be taught out of books.

But none should say schooling isn't worth it. Agreeable it is limited.. but definitely worth it. Hell with how dumb society is.. to everyones fault really..
