The footage from this video was mostly recorded in Alaska and British Columbia. It emphasizes the role of salmon
in the fluvial and coastal ecosystems. It denounces the declining of salmon populations all around the world

  • Good work Manu. I am working on the same problem here in BC Canada. We try to teach people because the problem originates in peoples minds and that is where the problem can be solved.

  • Great video, I really liked it you got a bunch of great footage.

  • we should kill the ducks, they are eating the eggs. we should sue them for adding to the loss of eggs lmao. it is sad though they are lossing numbers.

  • They expend more energy to create larger eggs, which are more likely to survive. This basically kills them though. See Crespi and Teo 2002 for more detailed info on recent findings. How semelparity evolved is still a mystery for the most part.

  • Wow, I didn't know they were endangered. Why do they have to die after first spawn though?

  • Like all of your videos, very well done. I enjoyed your published articles as well.

    Take care.
