She learned how to act like less of a weirdo. I imagine she pretty much had to.

She reminds me of me before I started therapy. If that's the case, she was just unable to let her raw self through, to break the defences, because she was incapable of processing the daily pains of living. She's clearly just her naked self these days. Her godly, otherworldly self.

She is a very articulate person, and an amazing artist. this interview is pretty weird. I went on tour with Joanna for quite a while and I have to say, she is astute and intelligent as well as a musical genius.

@lsamoa Actually, I don't think she's putting an act. I have the same problem (articulating feelings and so on), so I really know what that means. It's difficult, believe me. Maybe she has changed a bit recently. If so, then it's good for her.

I love her and her music but I don't get why she thinks she has to talk and giggle like she's 12. I'm not talking about the singing voice: if you watch more recent interviews she acts and sounds totally normal. Articulates and closes her mouth between sentences and all... Here she's totally putting on an act.

Joanna's artistic genius is definitely closely tied with her eccentricity... which, evidenced by some of the ignorant comments before mine, isn't understood by many.
