Part 1 of Illiana Fall Concert selection from October 28, 2008 featuring the Wind Ensemble. "Candide Suite", which is comprised of 5 Movements, is by Leonard Bernstein/Clare Grundman, arr. and is directed by Mrs. Patricia Menninga. The movements contained here are as follows:
1. The Best of All Possible Worlds
2. Westphalia Chorale and Battle Scene &
3. Auto-Da-Fe (What a Day)

  • Is there a Euphonium Solo in this?

  • They are a great band, but they need to get out of that gym. The acoustics are terrible in there. They should have at least had a shell around them.

  • A very very nice job. I just wish it hadn't been in a gym. I hate when schools do that to talented organizations.
