  • It's so hard leaning yourself off of notebooks since I love having pretty notebooks and paper though binders do seem a lot more logical to use and also I have a tiny little notebook of all marvel heros that I protect like my child, so I squeek when I saw your tiny notebook as well. Awesome advice!

  • WOW O_o!

    Youre sooo organized!

    I just have some stupid notebooks..

  • I typically use a similar system except with folders on my laptop. Instead of tabs I have folder names, and so on. The problem is that I can't always have my laptop with me, and I end up doing what you described - having writing in all different notebooks and school things in my writing notebooks. Having a binder and so on sounds like it would really help. I'll have to give this system a try :D

  • Thanks for this, Melina! I've resorted to using a binder now because of this and it's really helping. Thanks again, love! <3

  • @DarkKendall I know. I try to organize my things but it ends up bad. I forget my stories and my work I've done if it's very organized. Heck, I write my stories on paper cause it's easier. Even if I try to work on my stories, it ends in sucky-ness!My stories always aren't organized

  • I tried this and my mind has a terrible tendency to work backwards. -ashamed face-

    So the only thing I do that's remotely organized is writing little notes down in a small notebook that I have. Because organization dissagrees with me. >.>;;;

    It just tends to make me bored with the story idea. I dunno why.

  • @123naruhina I also tend to get TONS of notebooks...I doodle in alot [that's my habit, and it will be my character's habit too.] and jot notes down about the stories. I'm never organized like this. T^T My locker is wayyy worse than my text book. [my LA book is clustered in papers.]

  • I have about..three stories and TONS of ideas. 2 stories are...kinda worked on but I somewhat need help because..it's rather a lame attempt...Anyways, I go on meez and check out the hair colors...styles. And everything. Then choose if I want those colors. Then I draw out my characters [the best I can. Insted of Tabs I am going to use drawings of the people if I can. [only anime type ones though.] I have everything you kinda have but with wayyyyy more paper.

  • I took a look through my writing notebook, and I think I've gone one step further.

    One binder per story, main characters get their own tabs, bits about a character are flagged in a specific color.

    Ah... I love being an anal rententive.
