excellent decision making by the pilot here to go around instead of trying to land it. fantastic example of what to do when things go wrong and faced with a choice. good piloting.

I'm sure the pilot knows how to land his airplane... but sometimes the things just don't work out well... taildraggers are naturally much more difficult to land, specially in adverse conditions, like windy days...so please, don't crucify the pilot :-P
I bet he'd have landed it perfectly if he was in a cessna 150 :)

This aircraft actually uses a 172 engine in some cases. Other times it uses a 150 engine

This is probably one of the most difficult aircraft to land. It's much more difficult than even a Pitts and should never be three-point landed as depicted in this video
-
So, is a 1/2 scale Corsair half as difficult to land as a full scale,or TWICE as difficult to land!?

Bounce and go!

Very nice save by the pilot.

@kuigilnguq Sounds like my 2 horse power Lawn mower let alone a 172 Lol. i hate small sized replicas. they're so hideous
-
sounds like a cessna 172

excellent decision, like a profi, only way to save your aircraft, many happy landings
-
That wasn't a bad landing, just a fancy touch and go! Beautiful plane!!
