Thats a good idea. Maybe every four years another competition called " Super FIFA World Club Cup". In the past where two editions of a "Super Intercontinental Cup" were the historic champions of the Champions League and Libertadores played each other for the title of "Super World Champions".

Intercontinental Cup champions are champions of the world too. Europe and South America have the most powerfull teams in history. From 1960 to 2004 the champions of the Intercontinetal Cup were defined as "world champions". When Corinthians won the FIFA World Club Cup in 2000 nobody gave a damm for that trophy. The Intercontinental Cup was more important at that time than the FIFA World Club Cup. Read a little more, books dont bite.
