I don't think they switched VAs with Omega. What they switched is the sound filter. They need to get the other robot filter back.

You know, his voice actor in Sonic Heroes is not the same as in Shadow the Hedgehog. They just sound very similiar.
But infact, his VA in StH is Gamma's VA from Sonic X!
