i have a question,

i have a firewall/antivirus/antispyware

program called "comodo"

and there'se these outbound connections things,

how do i know which ones i should close? (if any) btw, i've hadalot of spyware atacks l8ly and had to recover my hard drive i'll be waiting for your reply :) thnx

@elemental0wnage - Comodo AV is getting better but still not great. Stealth your ports in Comodo Firewall, download Spybot S&D and install, follow the wizard and Immunize, it will create a hosts file of known bad sites and block a lot of bad ActiveX. In Vista and Win7 must be run as Admin :-)

@ guitarillo74 - I have it on one of my machines and it works well for me too. I quite like it as it is unobtrusive and learns quickly and for advanced users can give a lot more detail :-)

sorry but it fucked my hard drive i had to restore my pc so up 2 ppl if they wanna try it i just say what i had with that silly thing

@ serhad95 - It doesn't play well with all computers, nor does PC Tools Firewall Plus, and with both it shouldn't mess with the hard drive but it is normally necessary to reboot into safe mode to uninstall and use an alternative :-)

I had bad experience wiv online armor,on trying to install,froze my system which is windows 7, 64 bit, anyone know of good free one for windows 7 64 bit? i will keep windows firewall for now though. can the author of this vid,say what he meant by clean install,i felt more explanation of what do to before installing this firewall would have been helpful,at least to me anyway.
