  • Sorry - but I guess it's played a litle bit too slow. I think this piece have to be registered with strings, not with flutes. But for all that - very beautiful performance. Keep on playing Mendelsohn organ sonatas!

  • Thanks for the comments--if I ever play this piece again (or the organ at all), I would definitely like to try using strings instead.

  • A nice, thoughtful performance. I see nothing wrong with the tempo, nor with the registration. Yes, it can go a touch faster, but it doesn't have to, and it's not necessary to play it on string stops just because everyone else does. It sounds just as good on the flutes.
