Armstrong's mixture is an extremely powerful and sensitive composition.
All four samples were ≈ 10 milligram. They were placed on 0,1 mm thick aluminium plates and heated to detonation from underneath.
The 90 / 10 Armstrong's mix to ferrocerium ratio was best.

    A smaller amount can detonate if you heat it from underneath.

    But I did it because I wanted to ignite all the samples the same way.
