  • Anyone that played this as a kid knew that when they just handed you a BFG 9000 like that it meant bad times were ahead lol

  • I wish ID would make the next doom game using this same technology only fitted for HD and made the best sprite animations known to gaming. That would be my Doom 4 if I had to pick one.

  • @fountainherz yeah, unfortunatly i have the heavily butchered PS1 version of final doom that the group of flunkies at Williams spent 5 minutes slapping together. Not happy with the ps1 version at all.

  • @TheWaynelds

If you like this style (ambient music, lighting effects) then you need to check out Doom and Final Doom on the PS1. iirc the same teams were involved but it definitely has the same grim style and soundtrack.

  • @TheWaynelds yea i guess thats decent.

  • @sonicadx Well for the Tech lab enviorments they still couldve used the synth rock tracks, but for the hellish levels, they shouldve used this style of music. And i call it "Synth rock" because MIDI Rock doesnt really make sense. MIDI is how the recording software communicates, or transfers data, with the keyboards/synths/sequencers that are connected to it. I just think Doom64 captures the essence of being in hell a little better and more closely than the PC version does.

  • @TheWaynelds Doom on pc did have a satanic enviorment lol. Lastly, I wouldn't hate on Doom for its synth rock music (Some songs were fucking badass so I see no reason to bitch) In this game I can't recognize half the songs from another lol.

  • @TheWaynelds The point of DOOM on pc was to be action packed and fun, not slow paced and scary.

  • So your grandpa must of been at least forty! He was a cool ass mofo. Gaming is such an awesome thing.

  • @Danimal102306 1998, so I was 4.

  • @Banshee617 How old are you. It wasn't that long ago! Was it? LOL
