Probably you joking. This is Biscaya bay with 18 meter waves ? :D There you barely have 6-7 meter waves and you forgetet the swell. At 18 meter waves with your small frigate you are dead no matter in which sea or ocean - Especial in Atlantic or Biscay bay. Look like more to be in Baltic Sea .I don't wish anyone an 8-9 storm in Atlantic or a 9 meter swell in Biscay bay.

18. Nov 1990 Baltic Sea, nearby the island "Rügen" 8 meters waves (!) 4. Feb 1994 biscaya orcan "Lore" 14 meters waves
20. Jan 2007 biscaya orcan (name ?) highscore (!) in the night 18-20 m destroy tree windows of the commandbridge, satellite/radio-antennas and the rescueboat on starboard-site of the frigate "Karlsruhe"

Hello anthony, this ship its a german navy fast frigate class 122, the name is Karlsruhe, ca 380 ft long. Its a classic north-atlantic-havy- weather-rider.
I m sen.chief of reserve and some time from year to year on service
at this ship.
