I will agree that the vowels a just a little spread, but hot damn. They sound so fantastic without it. If you can sound that great without having a tall vowel, then don't bother.
I hope we even close to this good when we perform it.

@GpD79 Ok. So, in response to my opinion based on solid technique, you gave me two opinions of your own based on your subjective interpretation of the quality of their singing. Then you asserted a baseless claim against me in which you have no evidence for, and no right in doing. Very eloquent, may I say.
Are you SURE they could sing circles around me? They might all be able to juggle tennis balls better than me too. Or cook pancakes better. See why your comment hold no water, and is annoying?

@JoeyTheGuitarDude Um, when you're getting a sound like they're getting, I don't have any problem with their vowel shapes. They sound STUNNING! There's no need for your condescension, I'm pretty sure they can sing circles around you in their sleep!

To the guy in the back row with the facial hair, and the girl in the front row at :20 - good god! learn how to sing with correct vowels. that is utter tripe.

Ummm I don't hear any vibrato whatsoever (listening at full volume w/bose headphones...) This is straight tone as hell. As it should be! Great performance! Ignore the ignorant people who don't know what they're talking about.
