@usa1327 No crack. There are situations a crack will disguise your position, but modern equipment can detect where you're firing from because of the supersonic crack traveling perpendicularly to the bullet. No supersonic crack and you've denied that advantage.
Other than that it might be for hearing protection or something.

wait.. why use subsonic ammo without silencer? whats the point of subsonic otherwise lol

Okay, you MUST tell me where to find a Blackout FH for my 24x1 threaded AK-105! If these were custom made by you guys, PLEASE tell me how to get one so I can run an M4-2000 on a 12" AK74.

thats a badass magazine bro!

Do you need a proprietary mag?
-
what is the real advantage of the this 300blk arsenal over a yugo m92 w/ a side folder?

@ihaterobbie123 Its more of a fun rival argument in terms of the market. Some swear by the AK, some swear by the AR, some have both. Seeing this cartidge available in both is incredible, but I myself am a AR guy. Sorry I got your panties in a ball and Im sorry Robbie hurt your feelings, if you knew a little about the industry and who Mr. Silvers is, you might have gotten the joke.

@rosspl23 Nobody ever said it wasn't an AK.
Nobody even implied it wasn't an AK.
No, you need not remind us that the gun named in the title of the video as an AK, is in fact an AK.
-
its still an AK......sorry had to. Cool setup.

You ever going to put a can on this and share with the rest of us?
The case capacity of 7.62x39 is a bit too large to have subsonic and notmal ammo both work in the same gun. Also, 300 AAC BLACKOUT subsonic ammo is far more common. And heavy 0.311 bullets for 7.62x39 are rare.

The normal AK barrel does not have a fast enough twist to stability long/heavy bullets. So you would have to shoot lighter than normal bullets subsonic - and they could never cycle the action. The more you know how hard this is to do, the more impressive this video is.
