"Touch Me When We're Dancing" is a song written by Terry Skinner, J. L. Wallace, and Kenny Bell. Skinner and Wallace headed the Muscle Shoals, Alabama session group Bama, who first recorded this song and released it as a single in 1979. It was later released by The Carpenters in 1981 and by the country music group Alabama in 1986.
The Bama version was the first recorded. Released as a single on Free Flight Records, it entered the Billboard Hot 100 in 1979, peaking at #86.
Thank you nobum2 for presenting this song video. God Bless You.

Excellent! Would you consider posting the other songs off this album? It has never been released to CD and the three other groups I've found by Bama, BAMA and B.A.M.A. are not this group. This album seems to be thier only one. "Turnin' the Tables" is also a really good song on this album! Thanks again!!

Simply superb! This song sung in a male voice is just as awesome as in the voice of my favorite female singer. Great interpretation! Applause from Brazil.
