Here is a demonstration of the steps to take to publish an Excel workbook as an Interactive Webpage.

I also demonstrate how to work interactively with the workbook on the Internet. Next, I send the changed workbook back to Excel so that I can share my changes with colleagues.

  • Greetings Mr. DannyRocksExcels

Thanks for posting this video. I understand that with Excel 2007 and continuing with Excel 2010, the "Publish as Interactive Webpage" option is no longer available....You mentioned you figured out a way to address this problem and I was eager to find your solution! But I was NOT able to find in your website: (TheCompanyRocks) where your recent posting about this topic is.

Could you please point me onthe right direction?

  • @wandilly

Thank you for sending me a personal message. I responded with a link to my SkyDrive at Windows Live where I store the Public Excel Worksheets that I have created for my YouTube Tutorials.

Once there, you can Open, Save or Forward these Workbooks to a friend or colleague.

  • what should i enter for a search keyword?

  • @KellyAnne88kj

Use "Download" as a keyword. The Post is "Download My Excel Workbooks and Step-by-Step Instructional Mauals for Free!"

  • how do you do it with excel 2010

  • @KellyAnne88kj Hello - This has been a problem starting with Excel 2007 and continuing with Excel 2010. As you may know, those file fomats changed and Excel no longer offers the "Publish as Interactive Webpage" option.

I finally figured out how to do this for Excel 2007 and 2010. I have now started to store copies of my workbooks and documents in a "Shared SkyDrive" on the MS Live.com soace - in "the cloud."

Go to my website (TheCompanyRocks) and I have a recent posting about this topic.

  • Well done but question? When it connects to web, where does the spreadsheet actually get saved?
