Eleven year old Nate Shannon #99 from Genoa Illinois loves the game of football. One thing he has never done in a game was run the ball. So he was very excited when his coach from the GK Broncos heavy weight team told him he was going to have a chance to do just that. The Broncos were leading Rockford Christian 44-18 in the final minutes of the game. GK just received from Rockford Christian and now it was up to Nate. The quarterback handed him the ball and what happened after that was truly an amazing feat for a football player of any age. GK went on to win 52-18 over Rockford Christian.
