@boobtuber06 I think that's the episode 'Discretion' from season 3.
The song is 'Why does it always rain on me?' by Travis

Any devoted Cold case fans out there, I need some help:
I recently tuned to the end of an episode that depicted what seemed to be a falsely accused male prisoner of seeming latino/hispanic decent being embraced by his mother who, in the scene, perceived her past innocent son rather than the hardended prisoner exterior. They embrace... that's all I remember.
I would like to know what closing song they used, what was it?
Thank You

@fypsilon21 What does that mean?

@NateTahGreat Well, that's your opinion. I think you are really only one in a few who feels that way, compared to the millions who don't. She is definitely one of the only likeable characters on TV.
-
I don't dislike her just for that, it's mainly due to the fact that she just isn't really likable as a main character compared to others. (Stillman for a good example.
-
@NateTahGreat Look, usually the detective with the closest personal connection to the case sees the ghost, and mostly it's Lilly. That's the way it is. That has nothing to do with the character. Don't dislike Lilly because she see's most of the ghosts, dislike the writers.
-
I just think it is better for the truly loved one to know they are at peace. I mean, the way you are putting it, you would have had Pops be seen by Lilly instead of Will.
-
@NateTahGreat I understand what you mean, but the show isn't about them. That's why Lilly see's them. Lilly has a connection to all of them after working their case, that is why she see's them, knowing them and their family are in peace.
-
I mean, I'm okay with her seeing people that nobody has any good positive connection to but if they have family that loved them, let them see the victim.
-
Thing is, people like Ray Takahashi and Billy honestly shouldn't appear to Lilly when their family is RIGHT THERE. I just think it is better when the loved one sees their ghost instead of the person who has no connection with them.
What's sad is that the guy that is sitting in jail has just throw away his life for nothing. Not to mention wasting another innocent life. I guess that sometimes, vigilanteism just don't pay.

When I saw Lilly cry, I started to cry too. She is such an amazing actress, who puts on great performances!
