Americans started this paranoia against speedos back in the 60's(before that, american men would wear them regardless) because some women started a moviment against it. Real men really don't care about it. I have notice that those who really care about it are the american women. I don't know why these women hate so much men in speedos. ..May be some competion.... I don't know.

@pickastone I don't understand why american women decided they could tell men what to wear to a public beach, obviously they do not care if they are 350 pounds and wearing a little string, that somehow is OK, but a man wearing a speedo OMG NO. Instead of worrying about other people go to a beach to relax and not to criticize other people. I wish all my problems came down to worrying about what people wear to the beach.
