This clip is in my native language german. I've tried to write a short descreption in english, so that you can understand the clip a little bit better:
Lesley comes downstairs and wishes Amy and Mrs. Grant a good morning. Amy asks her when she came home yesterday and tries that it must be late. Lesley answers her that it was late because the clinic have wheyever many emergencys till midnight. Mrs. Grant tells her that she could bring Amy to drink a little bit tea, asks her if she wants to drink tea, too( Lesley wants) and tells her that her man have tried to reach her on the phone at home and in the hospital last evening . Lesley let her know that if she means Rick, he is not her man since a long time and that she was so busy at the hospital so that she could not take the telephonecall, she had no time to tell him that she was busy.Mrs. Grant apologizes by Lesley for what she had saying, that it suddenly came out of her mouth and that he has tried to reach her again when she was under the shower, he wanted to know if it is okay for her when he comes for a short visit this morning before she drives to the hospital. Lesley is not all to happy, says that it seems that she has no choice and that it must be okay for her. Amy is a little bit concerned and wants to know from Lesley if she is sad/unhappy now. Lesley answers her that she isn't and that she knows that the day would come when she must confronts Rick face to face and why shouldn't she do that now.
Amy asks her in her fresh young style: "Do you know what?You could Rick have back , if you want!"
Lesley answers her calmy and alike "Do you know what? You could finally dress you on, if you want!" Amy "thanks " Lesley for the broad hint and run upstairs because she is really late.
Lesley tells Mrs. Grant that sometimes this child(she means Amy) really goes too far. Mrs. Grant tries to calm Lesley , she finds that Amy is still young and that she is right, she could Rick win back if she want. Lesley is enthusiastic that everybody obviously knows more about her love life as she does herself.
The doorbell rings and Lesley begs Mrs. Grant with a ironic voice to open the door.
Joe and Captain Ramsey comes in and tell her the news about the search after Laura, the next steps they want to make to find her and tell her a little bit about Frank Smith and the Syndicate. Captain Ramsey begs Lesley nothing to say, he doesn't want that any person knows about this. Lesley asks if it is okay that she can tell Rick because he is her father ans he is big concern like she is. First Captain Ramsey is agree but then he wants contact Rick to inform himself. Lesley tells him that it will be not easy because he must go for a businesstrip to New York for a couple of weeks in a few days and that she wants to tell him that personally.Captain Ramsay answers her that he respects her wish.
(In fact Lesley doesn't want that Rick knows the whole story because she's afraid that he would cancel his trip and stay here because he is in big concern about Laura and wants to help and comforts her/Lesley).
When the telephone rings, Rick is on the phone-he wanted to asks Lesley personal if it is okay for her when he comes for a short visit, he begs her to wait before she drives to the General hospital and says that he will hurry.
Joe and Captain Remsey leave the house and Lesley tells Mrs. Grant a little bit from the meeting with them. She wants to know from Lesley if she tells Rick the news. Lesley ansers her that he has enough problems at this moment in his life and that she will not tell him it now because she's afraid that he would cancel his trip and stay here because he is in big concern about Laura and wants to help and comforts her/Lesley.
Lesley reminds herself that at the last time when Laura had problems-she had a terrible accident and Rick did an emergency-operation to her and saved Lauras life- he came back to her out of pity. And that should never be again. She wants to make the whole thing alone and is happy that she is finally able to stand on her own feed and that she finds that it should been stay so.
