That Hiawatha Car is private varnish right?
Amtrak wouldn't dare take them off the PV list and disgrace them with putting them in regular service would they???

that horn really does suck. LOL you know, ive talked to some of the crews,...funny thing is, they dont even like that engine. they said the best pony in the stable is the 1792 !!! they hate the F-59s cause they are so slippery. wont hold the rail. wheel slip really bad

LOL, they just took off the Fiberglass nose cone and painted the steel superstructure of the nose, that's why it looks so awful. As for the horn, meh, as long as the engine runs.

Thats because its been in like 10 wrecks since March. The worst was hitting 10+ cars in Charlotte, it set a record for most cars hit at one time.
