42 Movement Sword Form - Featuring Darth Vader
42太极剑 - 星球大战

Chi is the Chinese word meaning 'life force' - an energy created by all living beings. A Tai Chi master's strength flows from this FORCE.

Known for its health benefits, Tai Chi is in fact a martial art, evolved for combat over 4,000 years. The secret is inner calm, relaxed concentration and lethal precision.

  • Thank you,. You might also enjoy my second video in the series:

    Batman Tai Chi

  • Wish you could have used a Light side rather than a Dark side rep. for this.

  • @MrOphachew Don't underestimate the power of the dark side.

Joking aside, for a good character doing Tai Chi, try this Batman Tai Chi

  • whee can i download this track

  • @nananina982 I don't know. The track was on a CD I bought in 1997. I have been unable to make contact with the group Tandu.

  • My Sifu showed me this... absolutely brilliant! Just out of interest how long did it take you to animate all the moves? p.s. would have been even cooler with the Darth Vader breathing!

  • @FriedriceJR Thank you for your kind words. It took two weeks to hand animate the moves themselves, and an additional 4 days refining the motion as best I could. The animation was based on a frame by frame study of Master Shu Dong Li performing this form.

I would have liked to do the breathing, but could not find a good sound sample to work with.
