  • Having so many undocumented people in the USA is creating a permanent underclass and this is against liberal, egalitarian principles. If we had amnesty then working class native-born Americans could work with the newly legal immigrants and have greater leverage against corporate power. Illegal immigration is class warfare through divide and conquer. They did same thing with poor whites and poor blacks in America. It's the same game as always.

  • The second generation are English speaking, upwardly mobile, and entirely American, even if they retains some pride in their heritage (which isn't a bad thing in my view). Annabel, in fact, is a first generation immigrant, but now she speaks English a heck of a lot better than most of us! And had she wished to, she could have gone straight to the top of the corporate world. Luckily she didn't wish to. But her parents to this day would seem very Korean to many non-ethnic Americans. EB

  • 9500Liberty, THank you for covering this whole issue with a fair and balanced light. This is a real journalistic effort that cannot be ignored. Thank you.

  • ihurt, you're mixing up your inaccurate racial stereotypes. that one went out of style in the late 80's and was targeted at African Americans, not Latinos. The current target for people who have no ideas but lots of hate is Latinos.

  • more likely to work 2 jobs that 2 Americans could be working in these tough times. Your arguments are weak and out of touch with reality.

  • We're all immigrants. The United States is made of immigrants. If those speakers have such a problem with immigrants than why don't they help them become citizens. I'm sorry if I sound like such a biggot, but I just hate it when people preach about these myths with hate in their voices claiming that their true.

  • Dr Fuller is a liar. They came in illegally for the benefits and have no money. They will not assimilate because there is no respect from them from the beginning.Uneducated people with no skills are a burden on the US taxpayer.

  • What alot of you are missing the point about is, that while you are discriminating against illegals, you are also spilling it out toward the legal citizens of hispanic descent. Lumping us all together, and crap talking to us all. We also move, taking our money, businesses and children with us to more tolerable communities. This hurts the counties and districts that promote or tolerate this behavior worse than it hurts the legal hispanic community.

  • Horseface here claims to be an economist. Sure immigration, and even OPEN BORDERS are great in a capitalist system. But we don't have a capitalist system. We have a socialist system that CLAIMS to be capitalist:

    1. taxes are progressive.... i.e. "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need"

    2. schools, roads, in fact ALL infrastructure is socialist.

This guy needs to go back to SCHOOL (to study :^)

  • The true mainstream America hates illegal immigration. And, the idiots making this film will learn that.

  • Immigration is going to happen regardless of nationality of migrants. It is not morally sound to discriminate against a migrant because of their appear or cultural background.

I have lived in other countries as a temporary migrant, I understand the hardships faced by those who decide to move the another country, temporary or not. I have never experienced the same social phobia in other countries that is present in the US and that this video argues against.

  • #35 your truly out of touch.LOFL

  • icetrout, are you that angry you didn't get your bigot Republican candidate the nomination this year? if you did have a Tancredo or a Romney as the nominee, you'd have no chance of stopping an African American from winning the White House.
