hes had an english accent for 19 years. a few months filming with an american cast and on an american based film,,, WONT make him loose his accent. but i agree it doesnt sound as gd as his english 1. and eva9218 the ansur the your question is simple. because hes stunning and gorgeous and a great actor who is perfect for the part. nationality wont get in the way of that!! x

I'm very happy for Alex because he's working on a new film... but, with all the American actors on earth, why the hell did they chose an English one and make him change his accent?!?

That was going to be my exact comment. I think he's just staying in character. Alex wouldn't lose his accent that quickly.

Hmmmm, we've got the closet person looking like Heath Ledger, and the Olson putting a hex on him.  Truth is plain sight, or hollywood ritual perhaps. I think people will see the intentional parallels and bust this open for what it is. How hollywood manipulates the scene and what happens to people. All too real. Occultism at its best, in the guise of a hip movie. Will see how this one plays out.
