Please watch in HD to get all the detail.

This is just an experiment to see how water would flow on a massive scale (1). I would've made a better course, but i wasn't going to wait a whole day just to see the results.

Render time: 33.5 hours.
Particle count: 487,345

If you're going to ask me how i recorded it, watch my videos about the process. They can be found in the oe-cake playlist in my profile page.

  • Wow! How can you not have a bad fps at 5:53! You got so much water and now it explodes and I see no sign of the fps slowing down!

  • @doggygomoo It is in the way that i record the video - it is trickery. Watch the 'better method' version of my how to record vid

  • I have a AMD Athlon II X4 630 @ 3.2 and simulating 100K and it's laggs.

  • @joshhua5 The way that i recorded it makes it look perfect. It took hours...

  • @01DOGG01 how do you know how many particles you have on the screen???

  • @realflow100 I counted them... using notepad :)

  • cool

  • @01DOGG01 how to u do scale i hav da same version as u

  • i did this simulation in Realflow 4. i'll post it later when i check it for errors.

  • i got a question... How do U Do those Scales?

  • real water doesn't explode when there's a huge mass of it.. but meh, OE-Cake simulates water in a 2D environment pretty well.

  • I have OE-Cake and there is no scales on it. What are scales? And where do I find it?
