Women@Google: Empowering Women through Technology

Women@Google: "Empowering Women thru Technology in the Middle East and North Africa" took place at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, Ca, on August 19, 2008.

Join us in a panel discussion on empowering women through technology in the Middle East and North Africa. Panelists include program managers who work with the Women in Technology (WIT) initiative in Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. WIT is a program sponsored by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) of the U.S. Department of State and the Institute of International Education (IIE). These program managers will discuss their work in providing women in these regions with trainings that strengthen their business planning skills, professional development and understanding of information technology.
