Jesse is right. While I'm no fan of the Democrats, the term Conservative Republican is now an oxymoron. With an illegal invasion and occupation of a foreign nation; the shredding of our Constitution; torture used as policy; massive expansion of government; ridiculous levels of defecit spending, and The Patriot Act, anyone who's truly Conservative could not support the Republican Party, because there's no longer anything Conservative about it. Both parties are flip sides of the same coin.

Isolation would imply that we wouldn't trade with them and we wouldn't talk about economic policy between Islamic countries, which of course is a whole lot of bull. The beast of the matter that cause's their hatred is our unquestioned defense of Israel's treatment of Palestinians. Also the US/EU Intrest ever since the fall of the Soviets of turning the middle east into a Secular Democratic region by using military means which is an ambitious change for most of the radicals that live there.
