A Special Police Chief Receives a Special Award

This is the sixth and final video from PursuitSAFETY's Family and Friends Connection 2001. Candy Priano, PursuitSAFETY executive director, comments about the awards to the St. Louis County Police Department and the award given to Larry Trent, recognizing the Illinois State Police for their response policy change. Candy also presents Police Chief Richard Schardan with an award in appreciation for his compassion toward families of innocent victims of vehicular pursuits and dedicated service to his community, profession and efforts to find a safer way.
