JARRETT: I almost finished it. You portray her, I think its fair to say, as domineering, manipulative, calculating,
prima donna, and Ill give an example or two in just a moment. But I kept thinking as I read this that if a man
had done what she had done we would be applauding him as strong and clever and driven, perfectionist.
So, in a way, are you kind of drawing a sexist double standard?

KLEIN: I hope not. I like writing about women because I think women are more interesting than men,
more multi-dimensional. But in Katies case, I dont think its because shes a woman that I described
her in the terms that you just did but because from an early age she had this
single vision of achieving a goal and everything was secondary to it.
JARRETT: But we applaud men for being like that.
KLEIN: I dont unapplaud her for this.

he also wrote a book about katie couric, it looks like he just writes about succesful women because they intimidate him....

I know what you're saying about getting bogged down in semantics but a lie is a lie and he made one in this instance which builds a strong case against the very real concerted effort to sway the minds of uninformed readers with little falsity's that the author thinks will not be scrutinized.

Every other video I see of Al Franken, he's exposing Republicans in their outright lies. See how they squirm? My favorite is that "individual" named Ann Coulter. Her body language is classic liar in that video, and her stammering, stuttering speech further elucidates her embarrasment (I won't say shame because these creeps have none) at being caught in an outright lie. Al Franken rules!
