I can appreciate a kid trying to learn about cars, but honestly you need to do a LOT more reading lil guy! It's cool man, we all gotta start somewhere. I have an 07 Trailblazer SS, and even with the big 6.0 V-8 I get better than 10 mpg. lol

You must not know anything about this vehicle..do you????...its an inline 6 not a v6...and you said 10 to the mile....HELL NO IT AINT THAT BAD!!!!!
