It is said that true knowledge rests in the knowledge tha we don't really know anything.

That was actually a fairly profound bit of insight. Regardless of whether the really is a god, this process is definitely at work. It doesn't matter if its a real god who declared 10 commandments by which we must live our lives if we are to be admitted into heaven, or if its the cumulative result of many people, over a span of many years, imagining what some superhero-like character who knows everything (and inexplicably still loves us to pieces) might tell us about how to live our lives.

I'm going to have to start reading this man's work. What he says here is very very close to my own long held thesis.
Any individual who isn't confused about life isn't smart enough to understand the depths of their own ignorance.
