@axedstoninst they were very pop punk for this album , but have you hear theyre new stuff?? or theyre very first albums like dude ranch or cheshire cat? they were definetly punk. Rancid is known for being a good punk band and they are more ska than punk. And a genre is defined by how many people like the sound unless you call underground a genre so whatever calm down
