It´s a kind of innocent smooth garage rock from the 60s. Of course Chuck and The Rolling Stones versions has a little bit more "shit under the nails". But it does´nt matter. Johnny and the Strangers did the best they could and it´s enough for me. My hobby is to rediscover all the bands that did´nt break through . For example: Check up THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Really f.....n´ good with a bloody driving beat.
