The famous finale of Falstaff by Verdi.
The conductor is Solti, Falstaff is Bacquier.
This is a nice recording.

  • The best finale that I ever heard!!! (This is my favorite opera).

GO, MRS. QUICLY, GO!!! I love the alto's roles...

  • I love this staging! Usually all they can do is stand around because it's so hard to get everyone to stay together, but I love how there's a lot to watch AND hear.

  • we sang this along with other famous opera choruses COMPLETELY Memorized!

    This piece was awesome!

  • tutti gabbati tutti gabbati tutti gabbaaaatiiiiiii!

  • ...in opera, the visual is weaker than the music, nothing can keep up with Verdi's music.....

  • 2:40 the best silence was written by Verdi in the whole history of Opera!

Ten voices, the orchestra and expectator in absolute suspense!

  • Absolute Brilliance. The old master of the fugue, Bach, would have been proud of Verdi.

  • GRANDE SOLTI

  • whos the cast?

  • Ten-voice fugue...amazing

  • Verdi was a "fuegan" genius !!!!!

  • 2:50
