This was a group project for my old high-school video class, in which we had to make a movie about a kid who develops some kind of super-power. I didn't write the script, but was allowed to make a last-minute character addition in the final scene...

I'm not really sure which effects you mean, but so far I haven't downloaded any programs specifically for special FX, all of my videos have been edited in just Final Cut Pro. If you're curious about a certain effect, tell me which one and I can tell you how I did it.
